UTL - Universal Tag Locator
The Universal Tag Locator [UTL] is an all encompassing tag monitoring and reporting
system. With extensive search and reporting features, the Universal Tag Locator
gives the user the ability to locate information about an instrument tag from many
different data sources. It is expandable and customizable to include all of your
plants current instrument data sources.
The full Universal Tag Locator system incorporates six separate application modules.
Each UTL module provides a necessary component to manage operating targets,
create shift reports, capture alarm data, distribute reports, search tags based on
alarm type and gives you the ability to view all collected data in one location.
End of Shift Reports
The End of Shift Report Module allows an operator or supervisor to create pre-configured, job-specific shift reports
and output them in a PDF format.
Target Locator
The Target Locator manages your operating targets and provides target summaries that use your live process data
to determines if you are running within your configured operating targets.
Alarm Module
The Alarm Module uses the Event Journal Collector and Process Historian data to calculate and display which tags
are in alarm, the alarm duration and any operator actions that have been performed to either cause or fix the alarm
condition.
Intelatrac Reporting Module
The Intelatrac Reporting Module generates reports based on data stored in the Intelatrac Handheld Monitoring system. The Module includes 6 different customizable reports which can be viewed ad-hoc, aotomatically in Shift Reports or are Subscribable via the Subscription Engine.
Tag Locator Results Screen
The Tag Locator Results Screen is a portal based tag search module that queries and displays various data sources
that have Instrument Tag Data.
Enhanced ACM Search
The Enhanced ACM Search allows the user to display Target Summaries based on ACM Consoles and to search for
tags to be displayed in the UTLs Tag Results using ACM Alarm configurations.
Subscription Engine
The Subscription Engine distributes real-time reports via email. All reports can be sent based on various
frequencies and plant area designations.
